During the treatment process, I will work with you to identify achievable goals and leverage your character strengths to foster lasting change. With over 14 years of experience as a clinical mental health counselor, I bring a wealth of expertise to our sessions.

Family Therapy

Through family therapy, I actively engage the client’s loved ones to foster a supportive network for their recovery journey. These sessions are instrumental in addressing underlying issues and promoting collaboration within the family unit. Sustained family involvement further reinforces the skills learned and enhances communication and support.

In our sessions, I draw upon evidence-based methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy, emotion-focused therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and family-based approaches to facilitate meaningful progress and positive outcomes. The combination of these therapeutic techniques ensures a comprehensive and effective treatment approach that supports the client and their family on the path to healing.

Parent Coaching

Parent Coaching is a valuable resource for redirecting eating disorders and other problematic behaviors in teens. We will create a supportive environment to help teenagers achieve treatment goals like weight restoration, overcoming food restrictions, developing healthy relationships with food and exercise, enhancing emotion regulation, building a positive self-concept, and improving relational functioning.

Given that parents play a crucial role in the healing process of this life-threatening illnesses and know their child best. I will collaborate with you and empower you intervene in the battle for teens recovery.

LMHC/LPC Supervision

I am eager to offer individual clinical supervision to  (LPMHC’s),  (LAC’s), and other mental health practitioners seeking to accrue clinical hours and enhance their professional practice. Creating a supportive and nurturing environment, I aim to guide and mentor supervisees through their professional development journey, providing valuable insights and knowledge to foster their growth as competent and compassionate mental health professionals. To ensure we are a good fit, I offer a complimentary phone consultation before our first appointment. If my practice is full or I'm not the right therapist for you, I'll gladly assist you in finding other providers in the area who may be a better match for your needs.

Initial Appointment (Initial Assessment):

During the first appointment, which typically lasts 60-75 minutes, we'll discuss what's happening in your life and what you want to work on. I'll ensure you feel comfortable and supported, as taking the step into therapy is both significant and courageous.

Follow-Up Appointments:

Follow-up sessions are usually scheduled for 45-minute blocks on a weekly basis. However, your treatment will be tailored to your unique requirements. The session length, frequency, and duration of treatment will be determined based on your specific needs and circumstances.

Can I use out of network benefits?

In some cases you may be eligible to use out-of-network insurance benefits. You will be responsible for paying for each session in full at time of appointment. If appropriate, I will provide a super bill each month that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Do you offer in person sessions?

I only provide virtual sessions at this time.
